Johnny Cash: The Legacy Continues

July 17-18-19.

The South Carolina Entertainment & Music Hall of Fame is proud to announce a special 2026 tour across the great state of South Carolina, featuring The Tennessee Four in a powerful tribute to one of music’s most iconic legacies.

Get ready for an unforgettable concert experience as The Tennessee Four, featuring Thomas Gabriel - grandson of the legendary Johnny Cash -bring the timeless Cash sound to life on stages across the state. This tour celebrates not only the enduring influence of country music royalty, but also the ongoing mission to preserve South Carolina’s rich entertainment history.

Kerry Marx, lead guitarist of The Tennessee Four, is a Grand Ole Opry producer and a 2023 inductee into the South Carolina Entertainment & Music Hall of Fame. Alongside original Johnny Cash band members Dennis Crouch and Paul Leim, the group continues to carry forward an authentic and electrifying sound. With Thomas Gabriel on vocals, audiences will experience a true continuation of the Cash family legacy.

Each night will also feature a special opening performance by Benton Blount, as seen on America’s Got Talent, setting the stage for an incredible evening of music.

This tour will also serve a greater purpose - helping the South Carolina Entertainment & Music Hall of Fame raise funds for its Legacy in Motion Program, supporting educational initiatives that inspire and develop the next generation of artists and industry professionals across the state.
